Aftercare & Retention
Keep your lashes looking flawless and lasting longer with proper care. Follow these tips to protect your investment and enjoy beautiful results.
Lash Extension Aftercare & Retention Guide
First 24–48 Hours
- Avoid water, steam, and sweat (showers, saunas, swimming, workouts).
- Do not touch, rub, or pull your lashes.
- Sleep on your back if possible to prevent crushing lashes.
Daily Care
- Clean daily with an oil-free lash cleanser to remove makeup, oils, and debris.
- Brush gently with a clean spoolie to keep lashes neat.
- Avoid oils – oil-based skincare and makeup products break down the adhesive.
- No mascara – especially waterproof formulas, which can damage extensions.
Do’s & Don’ts
- Schedule fills every 2–3 weeks for the best retention.
- Be gentle when cleansing around the eyes.
- Use only products labeled lash-extension safe.
- Pull, twist, or pick at your extensions.
- Use eyelash curlers on extensions.
- Apply heavy creams or oils near your lash line.
Fills & Retention
- Natural lashes shed 2–5 lashes per day; fills keep your set full and fresh.
- Book your touch-ups regularly—waiting too long may require a new full set.
- Proper aftercare = longer-lasting extensions and better lash health.
